Corrections and takedown requests

Email support@expiredmarks.com. Please include:

  • the mark name or serial number,
  • the link to the page, and
  • the reason (what's wrong, or why it should come down).

We read every request. Trademark owners can ask us to take down a card about their mark.

Ask for a fix

Found a mistake? Tell us. Examples:

  • a wrong date, owner, class or status;
  • a registration that's been reinstated;
  • AI text that's wrong or unfair;
  • a wrong domain suggestion.

Ask for a review or removal

Do you own a mark shown here, or still use the name? Tell us and we'll review the page. We may:

  • label the record "Registration reinstated per USPTO" with the date;
  • remove the card, its idea text or its domain suggestion;
  • stop featuring the name in cards and feeds.

The underlying USPTO record page may stay searchable, because it reports a public record.

Community cards

  • Cards have no on-page request links or buttons. All requests come in by email (see below).
  • A request from someone who owns or uses a name doesn't hide a card on its own. We review each request and hide cards by hand when we decide it's warranted.
  • Other requests (wrong facts, offensive, a person's name, something else) are reviewed the same way.
  • We decide what stays up. We may hide, edit or remove any card.

How to reach us

Corrections and takedown requests Email support@expiredmarks.com with: - the mark name or USPTO serial number; - the page link; and - the reason for your request.

If you can, also tell us what it should say. Support is by email only.

Privacy requests go to privacy@expiredmarks.com.

We aim to reply within 2 business days.

USPTO records are public

  • Trademark records are public records kept by the USPTO.
  • We can't change USPTO records. Only the USPTO can.
  • To fix the official record, use TSDR (https://tsdr.uspto.gov) or contact the USPTO.
  • When the USPTO record changes, our copy updates after our next data update.

What we won't do

  • We won't give legal advice about your mark.
  • We won't contact you to sell you anything about your old brand.
